Gwalior Hundi Scandal News: Gwalior, New Dunia Representative. In the chain of agitation led by Chamber of Commerce in the Hundi fraud case, an hour-long dharna was held in the bullion market on Sunday. The dharna was organized in collaboration with the Gold-Silver Traders Association. Calling the CID investigation a hoax, a demand was raised to get back the money of the traders. At the same time, Sachin Gupta, advocate of Ashish Gupta, accused in the Hundi case, has issued a notice to the President and Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce regarding defamation. If the compensation of 2.5 lakh rupees is not given in three days or the apology is not issued, then civil and criminal suit will be presented in relation to defamation.
According to the lawyer, the amount of fraud is being told in an exaggerated manner, while the traders have not been able to give any proof in this regard. It should be known that in the Hundi fraud case, the traders including the Chamber of Commerce are adamant on the demand to return the cheated money by continuously protesting. There is also opposition among the traders regarding the investigation entrusted to the CID in this regard. Paras Jain, who is discharging the presidential assignment, said in the dharna that we had got the support of all the markets of the city in the 43-day agitation by the bullion traders, so the bullion traders would actively participate in your every movement. Convener of Sangharsh Samiti and Mansevi Secretary Dr. Praveen Agrawal said that ever since this movement started with the solidarity of traders, it has been understood by those people who had gone to visit Switzerland and Thailand with our money. Now they have to go to jail too. The dharna was addressed by former Mansevi Joint Secretary Jagdish Mittal, President of Nazarbagh Market Association and former Vice President of Chamber Suresh Bansal, President of Gold and Silver Business Association Purushottam Jain etc.
