The services of a junior resident doctor have been terminated in the case of Jamvati, a woman admitted to the trauma center of Jayarogya Hospital (JAH), declared dead even after she was breathless. Jamvati, a resident of Mahoba, UP, admitted to the trauma center on February 25, was breathing, but the doctors and staff had declared her dead without conducting an EGC test. Junior Resident Dr Kishan Soni was found guilty in the investigation of this negligence. On this, on the recommendation of Dr. RKS Dhakad, superintendent of JAH, Dr. Sameer Gupta, Dean of Gajraraja Medical College, issued the order of termination (dismissal) of the doctor. It is worth mentioning that in neurosurgery also, the patient who was alive was said to be dead. In this case, two nurses have already been suspended, while the ward boy has been removed.
Notice to the Dean of Private Nursing Homes and Medical Colleges: Government doctors will no longer be able to practice in private nursing homes without permission. For this, CMHO has issued notice to all private nursing homes and dean of GR Medical College and Civil Surgeon cum Chief Hospital Superintendent Murar. It has been said in the notice that if government doctors give services in nursing homes without permission, then action will be taken against them.
