Gwalior Railway News: Gwalior, New Dunia Representative. A woman gave birth to a child in the Uttar Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express going from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Manikpur. After leaving Agra, the woman started having labor pain, due to which the railway staff decided to stop the train at Gwalior station despite not having stoppage. 10 minutes before the arrival of the station, two nurses traveling in the train delivered the delivery. After that the railway and RPF staff admitted the maternity and newborn to the Murar district hospital.
According to the information, Akash, a resident of Mahoba, along with his pregnant wife Jyoti and sister-in-law Mamta had boarded the Uttar Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Mahoba. These people were traveling on the seat number 61, 62 and 64 of the S-4 coach of the train. After leaving Agra station, Jyoti started moaning with labor pains. Akash immediately informed the TT present in the train for assistance, but the stoppage of this train was straight after Agra to Jhansi. Meanwhile, Jyoti started having more problems, so two nurses traveling in the train offered to help. Meanwhile, TT informed the control room at Jhansi and decided to stop the train at Gwalior station. Before coming to the station, Jyoti gave birth to a son.
A two-member team from the center saw facilities in the maternity home: Under the central government’s target program, a two-member team came to Gwalior from Delhi on Friday. Dr. Nazia Saheen of Lucknow and Dr. Satish Hardas of Maharashtra, who were part of the team, inspected the district hospital and maternity home. Evaluated health and other facilities in the labor room and operation theater in the maternity home. The team will now check the hospital records on Saturday. CMHO Dr. Manish Sharma, Civil Surgeon Dr. RK Sharma, RMO Dr. Hari Singh Kushwaha and Dr. Alok Purohit were present during the inspection.
