Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh Killed: Israel has avenged the terrorist attack on October 7 last year. Hamas chief Ismail Haniyya has been killed. Hamas chief Ismail Haniyya has been killed in Iran’s capital Tehran. According to a statement by the Israeli army, Haniya and one of his guards were reportedly killed at his residence in Tehran. Ismail Haniya is the leader of the terrorist organization Hamas. He was on a visit to Iran for the swearing-in ceremony of the new Iranian President. Earlier in April, Haniya’s three sons were killed in an airstrike.
IRGC confirmed
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has confirmed in a statement that the attack was carried out targeting Haniyya’s hideout in Tehran, killing the Hamas chief as well as a bodyguard. Haniyya had been living outside Palestine since 2019. It was on the instructions of Ismail Haniyya that Hamas carried out a barbaric terrorist attack on Israel last year.
Haniya’s son killed
Let us tell you that in April 2024, the Israeli army also killed Haniya’s three sons. Israel carried out an air strike on the Gaza Strip in which Haniya’s three sons were killed. The Israeli army had then said that Haniya’s three sons Amir, Hazem and Mohammad were going to carry out terrorist activities in Gaza, meanwhile all three came under air strikes. Haniya was elected head of Hamas’ Political Bureau on 6 May 2017. The US State Department declared Haniya a terrorist in 2018.
