Jaipur. MP Hanuman Beniwal has reacted sharply to the statements made by former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. He said that Gehlot ji should not forget that the people of Rajasthan pay the most pain during his reign. Hanuman Beniwal said that after the 2018 assembly elections, when Sachin Pilot had sought support from him to become the Chief Minister, he had asked to support the Congress without any condition to the Congress. He said that the Manesar episode was the result of the internal fight of the Congress, because the leaders were forgetting the interests of the public and were engaged in the race for the post of Chief Minister.
Beniwal responded to Ashok Gehlot’s allegations and said that he does not need any evidence, because his stand has always been clear to the public. Taking a dig at Gehlot, he said that in the history of Rajasthan, it will always be remembered that during his reign, millions of toiling youth were played with dreams the most.
He alleged that the officials sitting in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), close leaders of Gehlot and the role of those who used to call the public “your broker”. Beniwal said that Gehlot did not take any action against those people, but kept his own ministers and MLAs under house arrest in hotels and ran the government from hotels.
Beniwal said that under the rule of Gehlot, Rajasthan had come to number one in the country in crime and paper leaks. He accused Gehlot that he had cheated the people of Rajasthan for 15 years by revolving around his high command. According to Beniwal, Gehlot has no right to accuse anyone morally.
