An example of mutual harmony and brotherhood was seen in Patna, the capital of Bihar. On Sunday, the Hanuman temple in Patna switched off its loudspeakers during the azaan. The distance between the mosque and the temple is 50 meters. While showing respect for each other, the mosque took care of the devotees coming to the temple. This sight has been seen at a time when the discussion about loudspeakers is in full swing in the state.
BJP is demanding removal of loudspeakers in Bihar like in UP. Janak Ram, a minister in the Nitish government, had objected to the loudspeakers installed in the mosques. He had talked about stopping the loud azaan coming from the mosque through loudspeakers. He had said that while DJs and speeding vehicles can be banned on Holi, Diwali, then loudspeakers of mosques should also stop Azaan. The minister said that being a public representative, I keep getting complaints about it.

However, the opinion of the Chief Minister of the state, Nitish Kumar, is completely opposite to this. He says that everyone is aware of our thoughts. We never interfere in any kind of religion. Earlier, he had called the talk of removing the loudspeaker as nonsense. He had said that there is no point in talking about removing loudspeakers from religious places in Bihar. Everyone has every right to follow his religion.
