New Delhi. Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who came from cricket to try his hand in politics, has taken a good initiative. Harbhajan Singh, who recently joined the Aam Aadmi Party, has won the seat of Rajya Sabha MP from the AAP party in Punjab. He wrote in a tweet on Saturday (April 16) in favor of farmers that, ‘As a Rajya Sabha member, I want to give my Rajya Sabha salary for the education and social work of the daughters of farmers. I want to contribute to make my country better and I will do everything that I can. Harbhajan Singh had retired from cricket in December last year. After this, on several occasions in Punjab, he was seen with former Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu. Since then, there were speculations that he would join the Congress or the BJP. But he joined the Congress party. Harbhajan Singh is said to be close to Bhagwant Mann, the newly elected Chief Minister of Punjab.
