A video of an injured Indian stranded in Ukraine has surfaced. This young man named Harjot Singh, who was in a hospital in Kyiv, has released a video saying that he needs help from the government soon. He also said that it doesn’t matter if you send the charter (aircraft) after my death. God has given me a second life, I want to live it. I request the embassy to get me out of here, provide me facilities like wheelchair, help me with the documents. Harjot Singh, the Indian who took many bullets in the war, says that this is the incident of 27 February. We were 3 people in a cab on our way to the 3rd checkpoint where we were asked to return due to security reasons. On the way back, several bullets were fired at our car, which hit me with multiple bullets. I haven’t got any support from the Indian Embassy yet. I am trying to contact them, every day they say we will do something but till now no help. Harjot Singh was reportedly killed by ‘AK 47 bullets’ on February 27, the fourth day of the Russo-Ukraine War, when he was trying to escape from Kyiv along with two others in a taxi. Indian Foreign Ministry officials said more than 6,000 people have been repatriated and about 1,700 are waiting to leave Ukraine.
this is how this incident happened
Harjot said that he and two others had booked a cab at a cost of USD 1,000 till Liv. The trio could not pass the third checkpost on the way as officials cited danger on the way ahead and asked them to pass after a day. Whereas in Kyiv, Harjot said that his cab was constantly on fire from the front and from above. He had an AK-47,” Harjot told ANI. As the firing stopped, he and two others slowly opened the car doors. Harjot then told that the bullet hit his left knee and the other his leg. A third bullet went into the chest and pierced his arm.
