New Delhi. In Haryana, the cabinet has been expanded on Tuesday. Two new ministers were sworn in on Tuesday in the Manohar Lal Khattar government. BJP’s Kamal Gupta and JJP’s Devendra Singh Babli took oath as ministers in the Khattar government’s cabinet. The special thing is that during this time Kamal Gupta took oath in Sanskrit while Devendra Singh Babli took oath of his office and secrecy in Hindi. After the joining of these two ministers, the total number of ministers in the Khattar cabinet has gone up to 14. However, there is only one woman among them.
It has been two years for the Khattar government in Haryana. This is his second cabinet expansion in two years. Earlier this year on November 14, the cabinet was expanded. However, since then the discussions had started again regarding cabinet expansion. CM Khattar also had several talks with PM Modi, Amit Shah and JP Nadda regarding this.

Who is Kamal Gupta?
Talk about the political journey of Kamal Gupta, who entered the Khattar cabinet, he is an MLA from Hisar and a doctor by profession. Gupta was born in Gurugram, Haryana, his father was a postmaster in the postal department. He did his schooling from Charkhi Dadri and obtained his medical degree from Rohtak Medical College.
He started contesting elections from 1996 on BJP ticket. For the first time in 2014, he became an MLA from Hisar.
During this, he also made headlines by defeating Savitri Jindal. He was also Parliamentary Secretary for two years in the previous Khattar government, but was later removed due to court intervention. In 2019, Kamal Gupta again became MLA from Hisar.
Who is Devendra Babli
Devendra Babli is an MLA from Tohana assembly seat in Fatehabad district. He is in Jannayak Janata Party. Devendra Babli became MLA for the first time by winning the assembly elections-2019 by a huge margin of 52302 votes. In the 2014 assembly elections, he contested as an independent candidate and got around 39 thousand votes. Babli, who belongs to the farmer family, is also a businessman.

After Tuesday’s cabinet expansion, the Khattar government has a total of 14 ministers. Of these, the BJP has 10 ministers, including the chief minister, while the ally JJP has three ministers, including a deputy chief minister, while Ranjit Singh Chautala is the only independent MLA who has been inducted as a minister.
