Chandigarh Former Haryana Leader of Opposition and National President of Indian National Lok Dal Abhay Singh Chautala has received threats to kill him. Abhay Chautala’s son Karna Chautala received a voice message, threatening to kill his father. At present, Karna Chautala has given a written complaint to the police about this. Karna Chautala was allegedly told by a voice message that ‘Understand your father or else the consequences will have to be suffered.’ Abhay Chautala’s second number was also called. However, when Abhay Chautala’s private secretary did not pick up the phone, Abhay Chautala’s name was threatened through voice message.
The threatened people allegedly mentioned former INLD MLA Nafe Singh Rathi, who was murdered some time ago. In the threat from the alleged voice message, it was said, “Our work should not be worried, otherwise we will send it to Pradhan (Nafe Singh Rathi).”
According to the police complaint, Abhay Chautala’s son Karna Chautala received a call at around 11 pm on Tuesday night. The caller cut the call without talking. Later, Karna Chautala received a voice message, allegedly used wrong words, taking the name of him and his father Abhay Singh Chautala.
The complaint further states, “The voice message threatened to explain to them (Abhay Chautala), they should not come in our way, otherwise they will also send them to Pradhan (Nafe Singh Rathi).”
Karna Chautala has given again information about a similar incident on 18 July 2023 in a complaint to the police. With this, Karna Chautala demanded ‘Y Plus’ security for father Abhay Singh Chautala.
