Have you ever wondered why people become senile at the age of 60? New research reveals

Does Aging Hits Us in Ours 40s and 60s: You must have heard the saying, ‘Sathiya Jana’. Often, whenever someone starts talking about ‘old age’ or starts behaving stubbornly, it is often said that, ‘Bhai has become senile’. For years, we have been considering the age of 60 as the measure of old age through this saying. But a recent study has confirmed this. A recent research has revealed that no matter how slow and steady the process of aging is, there are two stages of age when the evidence or process of aging in the body happens very fast. This new study has revealed that two important stages of aging occur at the age of about 44 and 60 years, during which many major changes take place in the body.

What does this new research say?
This study, conducted under the leadership of Professor Michael Snyder, Director of Genomics and Personalized Medicine Center at Stanford University, involved thousands of people aged between 25 and 75 years. For this study, their various molecules were monitored. In the research, 108 volunteers gave swabs (microorganism samples) from skin, mouth and nose in addition to blood and stool samples. During this study, 135,000 different molecules (RNA, proteins and metabolites) and microorganisms (bacteria, viruses and fungi present in the gut and on the skin) were analyzed.

Changes are seen in both men and women
Research has found that the process of aging is not uniform and gradual. Rather, changes in the body occur rapidly at a certain age. These changes in the body are mainly seen more in two stages of age. These stages of age are 44 and 60. Research shows that the first change of age or the effect of aging is seen in the 40s. At this age, changes were seen in molecules related to heart diseases, caffeine, alcohol and lipid metabolism. These changes were seen equally not only in women, but also in men. The second stage of age is in the 60s. At this age, changes were seen in molecules related to immunity system, carbohydrate metabolism and kidney function. Changes also occurred in molecules related to aging of skin and muscles.

This new study reveals that the two critical stages of aging occur around 44 and 60.

These factors affect aging
Let us tell you that many researches are being done on aging and scientists are trying to understand what are the factors that are responsible for human aging and how it can be slowed down. Talking at the cellular level, the process of aging is actually due to the deficiencies in the body that occur over a long period of time. Now there can be any reason for this, such as ultraviolet rays of the sun, nutrition etc. The signs of aging in the 40s show that it is largely related to lifestyle. At the same time, according to research, the risk of diseases like heart disease and Alzheimer’s increases rapidly after the 60s. Therefore, it can be beneficial to change the lifestyle from time to time and adopt the right diet and exercise habits.

It is clear from this latest research that the process of aging is not a gradual process, but it has important stages, which affect various organs and molecules of the body. It is clear from this that if you make the right changes in your lifestyle in time, then you can keep yourself better in the changes taking place in health under this process.
