A case of ‘missing’ of a female RAS officer from Rajasthan capital Jaipur came to light, which her family named Love Jihad. After the FIR was lodged by the family, when the matter started catching up, the woman officer herself reached the police station and clarified that she is living in a live-in relationship with her colleague RAS officer of her own will and there is no pressure on it.
Family members lodged missing, serious allegations made
The case is of Shiprapath police station in Jaipur, where the female officer’s parents lodged a complaint that their daughter had left the house without any notice. He alleged that the daughter was seduced by a Muslim RAS officer with her and described it as a conspiracy of ‘Love Jihad’.
On the basis of the complaint, when the police traced the location of the female officer, it was found that she was living with a colleague officer. After this, the family reached the police station and expressed his desire to meet the daughter. However, despite the police convincing, the female officer refused to meet her parents.
Female officer said- I am together on my own, no pressure
Later, the woman officer herself reached Bajaj Nagar police station and recorded the statement that she is an adult and has decided to live-in relationship on her own free will. He said that he is not under any pressure nor has he been forced. The officer also clarified that she does not want to stay in contact with her parents at the moment.
Police rejected love jihad angle
The family members of the woman accused Muslim officer Aman Khildar of forcing her daughter to stay with her by mentally affected in a planned manner. However, the police have not found evidence of any such forced or criminal intentions in the investigation so far. The officer made it clear that further action will be taken keeping in mind the age, consent and legal rights of both sides.
