New Delhi. After exit polls indicated a landslide victory for the NDA, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri targeted Rahul Gandhi and advised the Congress leader to start preparing for the general elections of 2029 and 2034. Hardeep Puri said that Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge’s claim of giving 295 seats to the opposition parties will vanish into thin air when the results are out.
Hardeep Singh Puri said in an interview to NDTV that ‘If they think that the India alliance is getting 295 seats, then give them 48 more hours to remain in a little more illusion, self-confidence, and then on the 4th they will know that they were living in a fantasy world.’ Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that all exit polls are pointing in only one direction. Citing the experiences of 2014 and 2019, he said that he is confident that the BJP alone will win more than 340 seats.
Hardeep Singh Puri said, “I think we alone are close to winning more than 350 seats. On the other hand, Mallikarjun Kharge is only talking about drawing-room things… he has also been wiped out. Aam Aadmi Party has been wiped out in Delhi. They are almost finished in Punjab. What is the condition of Trinamool Congress in West Bengal, see what the exit polls are saying.” About Rahul Gandhi, Hardeep Singh Puri said, “He is still young. He has the time of 2029 and 2034 ahead of him.”
Exit Poll Result: How did Congress win 400+ seats 40 years ago, who is breaking this record this time?
It is noteworthy that before the announcement of the results of the Lok Sabha elections, different exit polls have predicted the formation of the NDA government. After this, the leaders of the NDA are looking very excited. Some claimed that the NDA will get 350 seats in the exit poll, while some claimed more than 350. After this, there has been a stir in the political corridors. The leaders of the opposition parties are questioning the credibility of this exit poll. They say that this exit poll is of no use. It has not been prepared by going among the public, but by sitting in an AC room.
