New Delhi: The hearing on the charge frame against former Wrestlers Federation of India President and MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has been postponed. The court will give its verdict on April 26 on the earlier petition filed by Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. After that there will be a hearing on the charge frame. During the hearing of the case, Delhi Police told the court that the CDR report is an unnecessary document. The complainant’s lawyer said that the CDR report is a matter of trial and it is not required right now. Brijbhushan’s lawyer said that the CDR report is very important. The date of September 7 will come into force on the basis of CDR report. The court said that first the decision will be taken on the application and then we will talk about the charge frame.
Brijbhushan Sharan Singh has filed this petition
In the female wrestler molestation case, an application was filed in the court on behalf of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in which it has been said that there is a contradiction in the statement of a complainant. According to the complainant, when she had gone to the WFI office, she was molested while Brij Bhushan said that he was not in the country at that time. In whose evidence Brij Bhushan has also attached a copy of the passport. Therefore, a petition has been filed to investigate the matter once again.
Brijbhushan’s lawyer gave this argument
Brijbhushan’s lawyer said that we had tried to find the CDR but we did not find it in the documents. The date of September 7 is not found anywhere in the records. On this the court asked why you had not raised this issue earlier. Brij Bhushan’s lawyer said that there were too many documents in the case. We tried to search the CDR but could not find it hence we are raising this issue at the time of charge frame. Brijbhushan’s lawyer said that if there is CDR report then give it now. This is the right time to raise this issue. This issue cannot be raised further, that is why we are saying that CDR should be put on the report, otherwise investigation should be ordered on this point. The court asked that when the CDR report comes, then you will take time for debate.
