Today’s weather: At present the weather is continuously changing in different parts of the country. Due to western disturbance, the weather patterns may change once again in some parts of the country. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heat wave conditions are prevailing in different areas of North Interior Karnataka, while light to moderate rain and snowfall along with thunderstorms have been observed in most areas. Light rain and snowfall is expected in different areas in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad.
According to IMD, there is a possibility of light rain or drizzle in the adjacent plains of North-West India till April 5. IMD has issued a heatwave warning for North Interior Karnataka, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, which will remain in effect till April 6.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain and storm activity is expected in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, there will be light or moderate rain with thunderstorms and strong winds. Light or moderate rain may also occur in isolated areas of West Bengal, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Kerala. Hot night conditions are expected in Odisha till April 6, while hot and humid weather is predicted to affect Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Telangana and South Interior Karnataka.
Delhi’s climate
Talking about the weather of the capital Delhi, rain is expected on 5th April: After the current disturbance, there is another western disturbance and it is coming over the Western Himalayas on 5th April. According to Skymet Weather, once again Delhi city will be at the end of the activity cycle. However, the pre-monsoon season is not useful for local weather activity on a much smaller scale or up to Delhi. Keeping this characteristic in mind, similar seasonal activity may occur on the late night of April 5.

According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, scattered light to moderate rain and snowfall activities may continue in the Western Himalayan region for the next 3 to 4 days. Light to moderate rain is possible in Northeast India for the next 4 to 5 days. Light rain is possible in parts of Kerala and southern Tamil Nadu. Light rain is possible at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Heat wave conditions are possible in isolated areas of North Interior Karnataka, Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal. Night weather can be very hot in different parts of Odisha.
