IMD scientist Soma Sen Roy said that a red alert has been issued in the whole of North India today, but the warning of red alert will be reduced from tomorrow. A western disturbance is coming towards the east, due to which moisture is coming from the Arabian Sea to the states of Punjab and Haryana. Due to this, there is a possibility of a slight decrease in sunlight and light drizzle. Due to this, the heat wave situation is likely to reduce a bit. From tomorrow, the red alert for Delhi will be changed to yellow alert. In Bihar, after the red alert today, there will be an orange alert from tomorrow and in Jharkhand, after the orange alert today, there will be a yellow alert from tomorrow. At the same time, the red alert will continue in Uttar Pradesh for the next 3-4 days. After this, there is a possibility of gradual decrease in temperature first in eastern Uttar Pradesh and then in western Uttar Pradesh.
Let us tell you that this time the scorching heat has caused such havoc that the difference between night and day temperatures in the plains is only about 10 to 11 degrees. For example, if the maximum temperature of the day is 47 degrees, then the minimum temperature is also being recorded around 35 degrees. In view of this situation, the Meteorological Department has also issued a warm night alert recently.
