Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of heat wave in many states from May 23 to May 26. According to IMD, between May 23 and 26, heat wave or severe heat wave is likely in most parts of western Rajasthan, parts of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, eastern Rajasthan, western Madhya Pradesh and western Uttar Pradesh and different parts of the North.
The weather department has also issued an orange alert for Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat, taking into account the actual temperatures recorded yesterday, which included a maximum temperature of 48 degrees Celsius in Barmer in Rajasthan, Guna in Madhya Pradesh and Sirsa in Haryana. According to the IMD weather report, heatwave conditions are expected in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu division, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh till May 26. Heatwave conditions are likely in Uttar Pradesh from May 24 to May 26; and in Maharashtra till May 25.

heavy rain in kerala

However, strong winds have been blowing in the capital for the last two days. Due to the winds, there has been a slight drop in temperature, but the heat is still very high. According to the Meteorological Department, Delhiites are not expected to get relief from the heat wave for the next seven days.
