At the same time, heat is still wreaking havoc in the northern Indian states. The Meteorological Department has also issued an orange alert regarding heat wave in Himachal Pradesh. Indian Meteorological Department scientist Sandeep Kumar Sharma said that a heatwave alert has been issued for Una, Kangra, Bilaspur, Mandi, Solan, Sirmaur and Hamirpur for June 13 and 14.
The Meteorological Department has also said that Kangra, Kullu, Chamba and Lahaul Spiti may receive light rain on June 15. If this happens, people will get relief from the scorching heat.
When will the havoc of heat end?
Monsoon has reached inside the country at the end of last month. Slowly, monsoon is moving towards North India. Monsoon has knocked in West Bengal and Maharashtra this month. In the coming time, with the arrival of monsoon in Central India and North India, it will rain and people will get relief from heat. The Meteorological Department says that even though monsoon has reached South Indian states before the scheduled time, it will reach North India on time. In such a situation, the people of Delhi may have to bear the heat for at least one more week.
Monsoon will reach Delhi on 27 June
The estimated date of arrival of monsoon in Delhi is 27th June. In such a situation, monsoon is expected to reach the country’s capital between 25th and 30th June. However, after the rain starts in the neighboring states of Delhi, the temperature here will also decrease and people are expected to get relief.
