New Delhi. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heatwave. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of severe heat and heat wave can be seen in many places in the Ganga coastal areas of West Bengal and Odisha. The Meteorological Department says that the mercury is likely to cross 45 degrees Celsius in many areas of Odisha and Rayalaseema. The havoc of heat wave will also be seen in Jharkhand, South Bihar, Eastern UP, Telangana, coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Marathwada and Vidarbha areas of Maharashtra. The temperature at all these places can touch 43 degrees.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that the weather will be hot and humid in Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and coastal areas of Karnataka. The Meteorological Department has also issued a heat wave warning in the Himalayan areas of West Bengal, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Goa and interior areas of Karnataka. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds may blow in the eastern areas of Madhya Pradesh. Hail may also occur here. Heavy rain is also expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. Snowfall may also occur in many of these states.
According to the Meteorological Department, apart from thunder and lightning, there is a possibility of strong winds in the coastal areas of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Some rain is also expected in these states. The country’s capital Delhi and its adjoining areas will remain cloudy. There is no expectation of rain at these places. As the month of June approaches, the heat is becoming more intense. The weather department has already predicted more intense heat in the coming time. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has also predicted more than average rainfall this monsoon.
