The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains in more than half of Rajasthan today and has asked the people of these areas to remain alert. According to the Meteorological Department, there are strong chances of heavy rains in 18 districts including Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota today. Due to the rain, the temperature in the entire state remains below 38 degrees.
According to the Meteorological Department, the circulation system is still present over north-eastern Rajasthan. It is spread at a height of 5.8 kilometers from the surface. The monsoon trough line is passing through Bikaner today. Due to the effect of this system, there is a strong possibility of heavy and sometimes very heavy rains in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer and Kota divisions on August 15.
Today these 18 districts are in danger
Today, a yellow alert for heavy rain has been issued in 18 districts of Rajasthan. These include Ajmer, Alwar, Baran, Bhilwara, Bundi Dausa, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Kota, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Tonk, Churu, Jodhpur, Nagaur and Pali districts. Apart from these, clouds may rain in Barmer, Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer and Sri Ganganagar.
There may be some relief in eastern Rajasthan after August 17
There is a possibility of a decrease in rain activity in eastern Rajasthan after August 17. There is a forecast of moderate to heavy rain with strong thunder in some parts of Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions of western Rajasthan in the next 3-4 days. At the same time, light to moderate rain may occur in some parts of Udaipur division in the coming days.
The entire Jaipur was flooded due to heavy rains
On Wednesday evening, the entire city of Jaipur was flooded due to torrential rain for about three hours. The Pink City came to a standstill due to this rain. The entire city was jammed. The situation became normal after 11 pm. Due to the rain, people were stuck in the jam for about four-five hours.
