Enraged by the killing of top commander Shukar, Hezbollah launched dozens of rocket attacks on Israel late Thursday night. Israel also gave a befitting reply to the rocket attacks by Hezbollah. The Israeli army also attacked Hezbollah’s rocket launcher in southern Lebanon in retaliation.

What did the Israeli army say

According to the Israeli army, in response, it attacked Hezbollah’s rocket launcher in Lebanon’s Yater, which was being used to bomb Western Galilee. The army said that many rockets fired in the attack were destroyed in the air, while many fell in the open area. Israel has so far eliminated not only Shukar but many top commanders of Hezbollah. Those killed include Wissam Tawil, Mohammad Nameh Nasir.

‘Harsh attacks on enemies’

The Israeli army posted on social media (X) saying, after an alert was activated in the western Galilee region, several rockets were detected from Lebanon and some were destroyed in the air. At the same time, some fell in open areas, although there were no casualties. After the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah commander Shukar, PM Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel has struck hard on the enemies in the last few days.
