A hearing was held in the Supreme Court today regarding the opening of Shambhu border. During the hearing, the Supreme Court has ordered to partially open the Shambhu border within a week. The Haryana government can open one lane of the highway for ambulances, school buses, emergency services and local people. This will make life easier. The Supreme Court asked the DGP Punjab and DGP Haryana as well as the police chiefs of Ambala and Patiala districts to hold a meeting within a week. The court said that we keep the matter pending. Farmers should also not feel that they have been isolated and sidelined. Along with this, the Supreme Court also said that a brief order will be passed on the terms of the panel to be formed to talk to the protesting farmers at the Shambhu border.
Names of the members of the mediation committee
In fact, the Haryana government has challenged the orders of the Punjab and Haryana High Court regarding the opening of the Shambhu border in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has already reprimanded the Haryana government
