Hit a fifty in the last match, saved the team from defeat, yet Sanju is out of the playing XI

New Delhi. Everyone was waiting for the three-match T20 series being played between India and Sri Lanka. Team India has played for the first time under the coaching of new coach Gautam Gambhir. Wicketkeeper Sanju Samson did not get a place in the playing eleven of the first T20 match. In the last match of the last series played against Zimbabwe, he scored a fifty and led the team to victory. Even after this performance, he had to make a place for Rishabh Pant.

Team India is starting the Sri Lanka tour with the T20 series. When both the teams played the first match of the series on Saturday, all eyes were on the playing eleven. Before the match, there was a discussion about Sanju Samson. Will he get to play the match or will he have to sit out. With the toss, all the questions were answered. Rishabh Pant was given a place in the playing eleven as a wicketkeeper and Sanju Samson was out.
