For this noble purpose, the Gokastha Promotion and Environment Protection Committee has started preparations for Holika Dahan on 17th March Falgun Purnima, so that forests should not be cut for wood and environment protection can also be done. For Holika Dahan, cow meat can be easily available to the general public, for this, meat selling centers will be set up at 31 places across the city. On March 16 and 17, residents of the city can get cow meat at the rate of Rs.10 per kg. This Gokashtha will also be available in cloth bags of 25 and 30 kg.
Let us tell you that after reaching the sale center set up to make available this cow meat purchased from 18 cowsheds of the city, it will cost Rs 15 per kg. Still, people will be made available for burning Holika with Gokashtha at the rate of Rs.10 per kg.
