As a precaution, blackout was implemented in the border districts of Rajasthan from Sunday night to Monday morning. The city is once again moving towards the normal situation. People from the villages near the border were displaced due to the firing, but now they have started returning.

From Sunday evening to Monday morning, the administration put blackouts in the border districts Jaisalmer, Barmer, Ganganagar and Bikaner, which lasted from 7.30 pm to six in the morning. After this, the markets are generally open but as a precaution, schools and colleges have been closed in Jodhpur, Ganganagar, Barmer, Bikaner and Ganganagar. At the same time, flight operations from Jodhpur, Bikaner and Kishangarh airports have also been suspended.
After the situation became normal here, people have started returning to the villages near the border. Recently, due to heavy firing from Pakistan, people were evacuated to safe places from here.
After seeing drone activity in Barmer on Sunday evening, the administration issued an alert, due to which darkness was covered and people were asked to close their homes, but the situation remained normal after that. The local administration has appealed to the people not to pay attention to any kind of rumors and follow the administration’s instructions.
There was no pre -planned blackout in Jodhpur. The administration said that it will be implemented immediately if necessary. In Ganganagar, the administration had closed the markets from seven o’clock in the evening and the lights of homes and markets were completely closed during the blackout. During this time there was a complete ban on the movement of vehicles. Vehicles were allowed to pass only in extreme emergency. There is a complete ban on the movement of citizens in conservation areas. Also, people coming to cities from rural areas are also being sent back.
