A class 6 student in Udaipura of Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh has set an example of honesty. On the way, he found a bag containing gold and silver jewelery worth Rs 7 lakh. He came with his father and returned him to the police station. The bag has been returned to the original owner of the jewellery, who gave a cash prize of Rs 51,000 to the girl.
The matter is of February 20. Yashpal Patel resident Kakarua’s daughter’s bag full of gold jewelery had fallen on the road. This bag was found by Reena, daughter of Mangal Singh, a Dalit laborer from Udaipur. He waited for a long time that people would come to collect the bags. When no one came, she picked up the bag and went home. Informed his family about it. Reena’s father Mangal Singh took this bag to the house of the respected Dr. Mohanlal Badkur of the area. From there the police was informed. During this, when Yashpal Patel’s daughter reached home, she came to know that the bag had fallen. He too had lodged a complaint with the police. Along with this, its message was also circulated on WhatsApp.
Police and citizens respected
Police and the local people of Udaipur respected Reena. The jewelery owner, in his own way, honored Reena with Rs 51,000 in cash and a bouquet. Similarly, the station in-charge Prakash Sharma honored Reena by giving a prize of eleven hundred rupees on his behalf. Local citizen Brijgopal Loya told that it is necessary to respect those who show honesty. It inspires people to be honest.
