Raid on Ranjit Gill, proof of AAP government panic: Chugh
Chandigarh BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh attacked the AAP government of Punjab and said that within 24 hours of Ranjit Singh Gill’s joining BJP, Vigilance raids against him is a proof that Bhagwant Maan Sarkar has been stunned.
Chug said, “This is not a raid, not a cheap politics. Punjab is not a government, but a political gang, who wants to suppress the voices of protest by misusing the police and government machinery.”
He said that the pair of Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal have made the police and bureaucracy their personal weapons. “But they should remember – the Punjab is not afraid. Pressure, threat and repression will not suppress public voices,” Chugh warned.
He said, “This is not just a case of a leader. It is an open face of the autocratic and oppressive politics of the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab. Whatever questions will be raised, this mentality is a murder of democracy,”.
Tarun Chugh made it clear that the BJP will fight this issue everywhere from the public to the court. “We will expose this revenge politics on every front – be it the road or court. The Aam Aadmi Party will have to answer.”
He said, “You can conduct raids, but not on the will of the people of Punjab. The expansion of the BJP is knocking you, but the voice of truth will not be suppressed nor bowed.”
