Amravati: Janasena founder and actor Pawan Kalyan has filed his nomination for the Lok Sabha elections. He has also given details of his assets in the affidavit filed for nomination. According to the affidavit, Pawan Kalyan has declared that his family has movable and immovable assets worth Rs 164.53 crore, while his income has remained stable at around Rs 60 crore for the last four years. According to the affidavit filed before the election officials, the actor and political leader has liabilities of Rs 65.77 crore.
Nomination filed from Pithapuram assembly constituency
Pawan Kalyan’s family has movable assets worth Rs 46.17 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 118.36 crore. He is also survived by four dependent children. He has shown a loss of Rs 1.10 crore in the income tax return of 2018-19. Pawan Kalyan filed his nomination from Pithapuram assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday. Under the seat sharing in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has been given 144 assembly and 17 Lok Sabha seats, while BJP will field its candidates on 6 parliamentary and 10 assembly seats. Under the agreement, Janasena will contest elections on 2 Lok Sabha and 21 Assembly seats.
In which cases cases are registered
According to the affidavit, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has 11 vehicles. These include a Harley Davidson bike and Range Rover, which are worth more than Rs 14 crore. Pawan Kalyan has passed 10th class. There are 8 criminal cases registered against him, including one for making inflammatory speeches and violating motor vehicle rules. Let us tell you that elections for 175 member assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats of Andhra Pradesh will be held on May 13. Along with this, counting of votes will take place on June 4. (input language)
