With the demolition of illegal structures built by YSRCP in Tadepalli, Amaravati, many important information has come to light. Senior officials are engaged in gathering information about how YSRCP has grabbed land at prime locations to build party offices. Also, how land worth hundreds of crores of rupees was acquired in 26 district headquarters. The then Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy transferred two acres of land in all the district headquarters located in the heart of the cities to build his party offices.
The price of land in the market is close to thousand crores
The shocking thing is that the market value of this land is around Rs 900 crore to Rs 1000 crore. But misusing its powers, YSRCP has not taken permission for building construction in any of the 26 districts. These illegally occupied lands belong to departments like irrigation, settlement. Some lands have been allotted and some are restricted lands, which the party has allotted at its own will, in which there has been complete misuse of power. The estimated total cost of construction of each building is Rs 15 crore to Rs 20 crore. The buildings have been planned in such a way that the best interiors and furniture have been used in them.
2 thousand crores were spent on construction
Construction industry experts estimate that the total cost of these buildings and infrastructure is Rs 2 thousand crore or even more. Because Jagan Mohan Reddy wanted every building in the district headquarters to be like a palace. Every building has been designed in such a way that it looks like a palace and political analysts believe that no other political party in the history of the country has spent such a huge amount and built party offices in an expensive way. Political analysts believe that even the Congress, which has been in power at the Center for such a long time, or the BJP, which is currently in power, did not have such luxurious buildings as party offices.
