San Francisco. After tech billionaire Elon Musk bought Twitter, an old tweet from the Tesla CEO asking him about the price of the micro-blogging site five years ago has been found. Now this tweet is going viral. In 2017, Musk accidentally tweeted ‘I love Twitter’ and then a user asked him to buy the micro-blogging platform, to which he replied ‘How much is this?’
The tweet went viral soon after the news was announced and has now garnered over 1.74 lakh likes and over 35,000 retweets.
Twitter announced late Monday that it has purchased Twitter for approximately $44 billion.
Upon completion of the transaction, Twitter will become a privately owned company.
Before the official announcement, Musk said he expected his worst critics to remain on Twitter.
“I hope even my worst critics stay on Twitter because that’s what freedom of expression means,” he tweeted.
