The International Nature Conservation Association issued a red list in the year 2020, stating that more than 500 species of animals living on the land are crushing. Many of these species were declared extinct by the Sangh.

The extinction list includes the names of Asian elephants, the Ganges River Dolphin, a horny rhinoceros, snow leopard and other species along with Bengal tiger.
Asian Elephant- Asian elephant involved in the largest mammal found in Asia holds important cultural significance. They have religious significance in many countries as well as India. These play an important role in preserving the ecosystem of forests and grasslands. Sometimes it was found in large numbers in areas like Punjab and Gujarat in India. However, they have a large number of victims for teeth, due to which they are facing danger.
Ganga River Dolphin- The dolphin of the Ganges river, which lives in the most densely populated area according to the human population in the world, is also facing danger for its existence. With water pollution, excess of chemical elements in rivers, it gets entangled in fishing nets many times and these things have put them in danger. Dolphins are found in the Ganges-Brahmaputra and Karnafuli-Sangu River in Nepal and Bangladesh along with India.
A horny rhinoceros- Indian rhinoceros with a singing rhinoceros is found in the foothills of India and Himalayas. Due to its precious skin and singing, this species has always been the target of predators. As a result, they have also joined the list of extinction. Not only this, rhinos also have to face problems due to floods in rivers.
Snow leopard- Sad, but truth is that the number of snow leopards in India is only 500. This species is found in China, Nepal, Bhutan, Russia, Pakistan, Afghanistan as well as Mongolia. Like rhinos, snow leopards are also facing crisis due to their skins, bones and other parts of the body. Illegal trade or hunting is even more dangerous for them.
The Bengal tiger has also faced poaching for his skin and other parts of the body. Urban expansion and rapid declining forests have proved to be even more harmful for them. Due to the dangers, the threat of existence of these species is in danger.
