Itanagar. Three people from Kerala, including two women, were found dead under mysterious circumstances in a hotel in Ziro in Lower Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday. Police officials gave this information. Police quoted the hotel staff as saying that Naveen Thomas, 39, from Kottayam, Kerala, had come to stay at the hotel on March 28 with his wife Devi B (39), a resident of Thiruvananthapuram, and his friend Arya B Nair (29).
According to the hotel staff, the three were not seen since Monday and when they got suspicious early on Tuesday, the staff checked their room and found it locked from inside. “When the hotel staff broke the door, they found that all three guests were dead,” the officer said.
The reason behind death is ‘black magic’?
Meanwhile, Kerala Police says it will send a team to Arunachal Pradesh to investigate the death of three people from the state, amid speculations that black magic could be behind their deaths. However, Kerala Police said that at present they cannot say that the reason behind the death was black magic. Thiruvananthapuram city police commissioner C Nagaraju said there appeared to be something unusual in the behavior of the trio – a married couple and a woman – but nothing conclusive could be found until their mobiles and other electronic devices were examined. Can be called.
The city’s top police officer said, “We cannot say that it was black magic or anything like that. Our team will go there. After the procedures are completed we can bring evidence from there. So it will take some time.” He also said that it should be investigated why the three went there and how they died. The officer also said that prima facie they do not have information about any other such group, but we need to investigate why this group was formed and what was their common objective.
While Nair’s body was on the bed and his wrists were cut with a blade, Devi B’s body was lying on the floor and there were cut marks on her neck as well as on the right side of her wrist. Thomas was found dead in the washroom with injury marks on his left wrist.
The officer said the post-mortem report is expected on Wednesday. He said that this mysterious incident is being thoroughly investigated considering all possible aspects. Initial investigation revealed that a missing FIR was registered against Nair in Thiruvananthapuram.
