A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh, which has created a sensation in the entire area. In Gopalpur village of Deva Kotwali area, there was a stir after the dead bodies of a husband and wife were found from a closed room of a house on Tuesday morning. The deceased have been identified as 29 -year -old Raju and 28 -year -old Munni Devi.
According to the local people, when there was no call from the house for a long time, family members and neighbors were suspicious. When seen from the window, the scene inside the room was going to stand up. The body of husband Raju was hanging from the noose, while the body of wife Munni Devi was lying on the ground. Seeing this, people were shocked and immediately informed the police.
The police team reached the spot and broke the door of the room and entered inside. No sabotage or looting marks have been found at the scene, making the matter more mysterious. Initial investigation has revealed that there was a long-standing family feud between the husband and wife, which was also intervened by the people around many times.
The police suspect that the case may be of murder and suicide. It is feared that the husband first strangled the wife to death due to a dispute and then hanged himself. However, the post -mortem report is awaited to confirm this possibility. At present, both the bodies have been taken into possession and sent to the district hospital for post -mortem.
Deva Kotwali in -charge said that the door of the room was closed from inside and no suicide note was also found. “We are investigating with all aspects. It is suicide or a planned murder, it will be revealed only after investigating the medical report and call details,” the police officer said.
Weeds have spread in the village since the incident. The relatives and villagers of the deceased are being questioned so that the links of the incident can be added. There are various discussions about the case, but the police has not reached any conclusion yet.
The case once again indicates dangerous consequences of family disputes and mental stress. The police have appealed that any person comes forward for any information and cooperate in the investigation.
