New Delhi: The Indian Railways has recently faced criticism online due to videos showing train compartments filled with passengers without tickets due to overcrowding. The issue has been further fuelled by a recent viral clip showing two women arguing over a train seat, both of whom claim they have paid for it.
The viral footage shared on X shows a heated argument between two women over a seat on the upper berth of a train. A woman, who was resting on the berth with her son, allegedly occupied the seat without a valid ticket. Meanwhile, the woman standing below claimed that the seat was reserved in her name and was being occupied by a passenger without a ticket. Both the women argued that the seat was a confirmed booking and not an RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation).
