A shocking incident came to light in the Javar police station area of Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, in which a 16 -year -old boy caught a thief entered into his house. The incident is from Javar village on Tuesday, when a thief entered the house of an old woman to steal. The old woman was working in the farm, and her 16 -year -old grandson returned home from the farm. When the grandson opened the lock of the house, the thief was standing behind the door.
Strange statement of the thief: After catching the thief, the grandson took a photo of the thief in his mobile and asked him why he came to the house. To this, the thief gave a strange reply that he had come to play “hide and seek”. The grandson then asked the thief whose house he had come to the village, then the thief tried to run away by pushing him. During this time, the thief also took gold-silver jewelery and cash kept in the house.
Report was lodged to the police: The boy told his family about the incident, and he immediately reached home. Jewelry and money were missing at home. Then the family lodged a report at Javar police station. The police arrested the accused Shubham and during interrogation, the accused said that he bought liquor worth Rs 400 with the stolen money and paid Rs 1200.
Accused Shubham also told that he is a student of class 12 and steals to fulfill his hobbies. The police have registered a case of theft against the accused Shubham and the investigation is on.
Vigilance of the local people: This incident occurred when the locals were already cautious due to increasing reports of theft incidents in Javar, Rangaon and Rohini. The villagers were alerted about the incidents of theft through social media, which result in the vigilance of the local people as a result of this thief.
The incident was successfully resolved due to the awareness of the local people and quick action by the police, and now the accused is under police custody.
