New Delhi. The Delhi High Court on Friday reprimanded the failure of the Delhi government and the absence of any standing committee after the departure of the CM. The court strongly reprimanded the Delhi government and MCD for failing to provide textbooks to two lakh children of government schools. The court reprimanded and said that Urban Development Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has also turned a blind eye to the problems of the students and is showing crocodile tears. It has been said in a PIL that the condition of MCD schools is bad, children are not even getting books.
Acting Chief Justice of Delhi High Court Manmohan reprimanded that the Delhi government is only interested in remaining in power. The court has commented on Kejriwal not resigning even after his arrest. The court said that he has put his own interest above the interest of the country. The court reserved the order in this case, which may come on Monday.
CBI reached Sandeshkhali, got suspicious on the deserted house, dug the ground and then what was found… NSG had to be called.
There is no standing committee
The High Court said that Saurabh Bhardwaj’s name will also be included in the order. Government lawyer Farasat said that at present there is no standing committee in MCD, due to which problems are being faced. The reason why MCD does not have a standing committee is that the LG has illegally appointed aldermen. And this matter is pending in the Supreme Court.
How much power do you need?
The government’s lawyer also said in the court that the Delhi government does not have much power anyway. Then the court said that you are only interested in power. I don’t know how much power you want? The court does not have the work of distributing books and dresses. We are doing this because someone is failing in his work.
will run the government from jail
The Delhi government clarified that the Chief Minister is in custody and without his approval, more financial powers cannot be given to the MCD House. The court said that it was you who had said that the government would be run even while the Chief Minister was in custody. Some petitions related to this had come before the court, the court had also commented, but despite that, it was your administrative decision that you will run the government from jail.
