137 constables of Gopalganj district force were sent to Sheikhpura. After three days, 34 soldiers contributed in the second phase.

Gopalganj. To conduct peaceful and fear-free Lok Sabha elections, police forces are being sent to other districts. 137 constables of Gopalganj district force were sent to Sheikhpura, where the first phase of elections was held. From here, all the constables were to contribute in Kishanganj district for the second phase of elections, but out of these, 34 constables went to their homes without any information and after three days, contributed in Kishanganj for election duty.
On the report of Kishanganj SP, Gopalganj SP Swarn Prabhat took the negligence seriously and ordered to deduct three days’ salary. The SP said that 34 constables of the district force had gone to their homes unauthorized without any information, due to which action has been taken against them. Due to this action of SP, the problems of the constables who go home unauthorized have increased.

SP said that any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in the elections. Those whose duty has been imposed and given accountability will have to be followed. Let us tell you that the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections in Gopalganj is on 25th May, but before that, the personnel of the district police force have been sent to conduct elections in other districts. After the completion of the five phase elections, all the district force personnel will come in the sixth phase.
