Ayodhya: The district administration in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, demolished the bakery of Moeed Khan, accused of raping a 12-year-old girl, on Saturday. Giving information about this, the officials said that Moeed Khan’s bakery has been demolished because it was built illegally over a pond. After the news of bulldozer being run on Moeed Khan, SP MP from Ayodhya, Avdhesh Prasad has also given his reaction. He has said that ‘I cannot tell what enmity they (BJP) have with Muslims, Yadavs.’
‘The Chief Minister has a very old ideology’
On the bulldozer being run on the house of SP leader Moeed Khan, the main accused in the gangrape of a minor girl, Awadhesh Prasad said, ‘This is a very old ideology of the honorable Chief Minister. He cannot tell what enmity he has with Muslims, with Yadavs. Samajwadi Party can never stand with the guilty, with the unjust. Samajwadi Party has always fought against injustice. BJP should not do politics on such a painful incident.’

SP MP Awadhesh Prasad further said, ‘This incident is very painful and shameful. All the people related to this incident should be investigated, the truth should be found out and whoever is guilty should be held guilty under the law and strict action should be taken against them. The police should also take action without any pressure. The Samajwadi Party stands with the victim. It is regrettable to say that the BJP is doing politics on this. I request such people that this is not a moment for politics, this is a moment for sympathy. Whoever is guilty should be taken action against.’
CM Yogi met the mother of the rape victim
On Friday, the mother of the rape victim met the Chief Minister at his official residence. After meeting Yogi, the victim’s mother told the media that she has demanded death penalty from the government for those who brutally raped her daughter, on which the Chief Minister has also assured that the government is committed to provide justice to the girl at all costs. The girl’s mother said that the Chief Minister has also assured that the properties of the accused Moeed Khan will be investigated and bulldozers will be run on illegal properties.
