Paris Olympics 2024: India has got its first medal in Paris Olympics 2024 and this has been brought by young shooter Manu Bhaker. Manu has won the bronze medal by finishing third in the 10 meter air pistol. She performed well in the final round and won the medal. She is the first Indian female shooter to win a medal in the history of Olympics. Manu scored 221.7 in the final round of eight shooters.

Suma Shirur said that Manu Bhaker has become experienced now and has constantly evolved since the Tokyo Olympics. She is one step ahead. She has improved overall. I thought she would do something. Finals have always been difficult. You are out by a decimal and win gold by a decimal. But Manu did not let herself crumble under pressure. She carried the burden of the country.
