New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has confirmed his participation in the much awaited Ram Temple Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. The announcement came after a meeting on Wednesday with members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, including Champat Rai and Nripendra Mishra, who extended a warm invitation to the Prime Minister. The ceremony, to be held on January 22, 2024, is an important milestone in the construction of Ram Temple and has sparked a wave of preparations and excitement in Ayodhya.
An invitation steeped in tradition
Prime Minister Modi took to Twitter to share his gratitude and enthusiasm, saying, “Jai Siya Ram! Today is a day full of deep emotions. The dignitaries of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust met me at my residence and extended invitation to me for participation in the Pran Pratistha ceremony at Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, I am truly blessed and fortunate to witness this historic occasion in my lifetime. I am feeling.”
Ayodhya buzzing with preparations
The construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is going on at a rapid pace, and with the consecration ceremony underway, excitement has reached its peak in the holy city. After the ceremony, Lord Rama will take his place at the new temple site, culminating years of devotion and hard work. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, entrusted with the responsibility of preparations for the ceremony, is leaving no stone unturned. Every detail is being given meticulous attention to ensure a grand and unforgettable event. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been actively involved in overseeing the temple construction and preparations for the consecration ceremony. He regularly visits Ayodhya to monitor the progress of these important projects.

Ayodhya district administration and Trust officials have been engaged in frequent meetings focusing on security arrangements, visitor routes, accommodation for guests and crowd control during the Pran Pratistha ceremony. The safety and well-being of all participants and pilgrims remains the top priority. To maintain order and security during the Pran Pratistha ceremony, Commissioner Gaurav Dayal revealed that the darshan of Ram Lalla will be temporarily stopped for three days. The public will be requested to refrain from visiting the temple during this period.
