New Delhi. The central government has now sent a notice to trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar, who is surrounded by controversies. According to the English newspaper The Times of India, the DoPT department of the central government has sent a notice to Pooja Khedkar and sought a reply to the allegations against her. Pooja Khedkar will have to reply to this notice of DoPT in writing or by appearing in person by August 2. If this is not done, further action will be taken. DoPT looks into the cases of all IAS and IPS. Earlier, the central government had formed a one-member committee to investigate the case of Pooja Khedkar. The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) located in Mussoorie had called her back, but Pooja Khedkar did not reach there by the scheduled date of July 23.
Pooja Khedkar is accused of using a private car with a red light while being a trainee IAS in Pune. She had Maharashtra Government written on the car. Pooja Khedkar occupied a senior officer’s room in her office and also demanded accommodation for herself. After all this, she got embroiled in controversies. After which the Maharashtra government transferred Pooja Khedkar to Washim. It was also revealed about Pooja that she had given the UPSC exam several times by changing her name and age. Apart from this, Pooja Khedkar is also accused of declaring herself as Divyang, but instead of getting the test done at AIIMS, she submitted the report of the test done by a private diagnostic. Recently, Pooja Khedkar was also accused of telling that her parents were divorced. Pune Police found in its investigation that Pooja’s mother Manorama and father Dilip Khedkar had divorced, but lived together in the same house.
After the case of Pooja Khedkar came to light, her family also faced difficulties. A video of the year 2023 surfaced, in which Pooja’s mother Manorama Khedkar was seen threatening a farmer with a pistol. After this video surfaced, Pune Police registered a case. After which Pooja’s parents went missing. After a lot of effort, Pune Police arrested Manorama Khedkar and sent her to jail. At the same time, Pooja Khedkar’s father took anticipatory bail from the court.
