New Delhi. On Tuesday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the ODI rankings for women cricketers. After this ranking, a good news came out for Indian women’s cricket. In fact, in this ranking released by the ICC, the Indian women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur and vice-captain Smriti Mandhana appeared to be improving one place each. Both these batsmen of the Indian women’s team performed brilliantly against Sri Lanka. As a result, the ICC rankings of Harmanpreet and Mandhana have improved. On the one hand, where Smriti Mandhana is ranked 9th in the ranking of batsmen, on the other hand, Harmanpreet Kaur has occupied herself at 13th place.

Other Indian players also benefited
Apart from Mandhana and Harmanpreet, some other Indian women cricketers have also benefited. Among them, batsman Yastika Bhatia has moved up one place to 45th, Shefali Verma 33rd, Pooja Vastakar has joined 53rd. Apart from this, Rajeshwari Gaikwad has reached 9th place, Meghna Singh 43rd, Vastakar 48th in Ganjbaazi. Apart from these, if we talk about Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana, then both these players played an important role in the victory of the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. In this series, Harmanpreet took 119 runs and three wickets at an average of 59.50. Apart from this, Smriti Mandhana also scored a century along with scoring runs at an average of 52.
Australia and England continue to dominate in the latest ICC rankings. Australia’s Alyssa Healy and England’s Natalie Sciver are in the top two places in the batting rankings. Apart from this, England’s Sophie Ecclestone and South Africa’s Shabnim Ismail continue to top the bowling rankings.
