New Delhi. The International Cricket Council has released the schedule for the second edition of the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup to be held next year. India created history by winning the first edition played in South Africa last year under the captaincy of Shefali Verma. It is to be organized in Malaysia in 2025. The Indian team will enter as the defending champion. It is to be organized at the beginning of the year in which a total of 16 teams will participate.
After the success of the first edition of the ICC Under 19 Women’s World Cup, the ICC has now completed preparations for its second edition. The tournament is scheduled to begin on January 18 next year. Its final will be played on February 2. A total of 4 matches will be played between 16 teams. The team of Samoa will be seen participating in the World Cup for the first time.
