The effect of this is that the third wave of infection in India remained largely under control. In those who applied both doses, the prevention of infection was recorded up to 99 percent.

The Joint Secretary said that in the last two weeks, there has been a decline in corona cases worldwide but Germany has the highest number of cases. After that Russia or South Korea have the most cases. Apart from South Korea, cases are also increasing in Vietnam, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand and New Zealand, he said.
