‘My family was surprised that I…’
Vikas Divyakirti further said that his family members are surprised at how he remains so normal. The head of Drishti IAS said, ‘Three children must have climbed on the table to save themselves. I try to understand their pain. LG sahab had called a meeting. Senior officers of the Delhi government were present there. Students also came there. We talked to them a little, but there was no minister of the Delhi government. It seems that some issues will be resolved soon.’ Vikas Divyakirti further said that Drishti IAS has made a mistake, but there are more than a thousand coaching centres in Delhi. He said that he estimates that all the coaching buildings have almost no fire NOC.’

Vikas Divyakirti gave clarification
Vikas Divyakirti said, ‘I wanted all the situations to be clear. Our basement is in Mukherjee Nagar. Our coaching centre in Karol Bagh has permission. There are 7 exits in the basement of Nehru Vihar in Mukherjee Nagar. It is written everywhere how to get out. According to me, the basement is the safest. The owner of the building is someone else. The building management cases are pending in the High Court as well as the MCD. We had the children fill a form that if the coaching is removed from here, then which of our coaching centres would they like to go to. Most of the coaching centres in Delhi have only one exit in the basement. I was just afraid of the fire service. That’s why we gave holidays in summer and conducted online classes.’
