New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Wednesday that if people voted for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), they would have to go to jail. Kejriwal urged people to vote for the candidate of ‘India’, an alliance of opposition parties. Under the ‘India’ alliance, AAP and Congress are fighting the Lok Sabha elections together in Delhi. While doing a road show in Model Town area in favor of Congress candidate JP Aggarwal from Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha seat, Kejriwal also gave the slogan that ‘Those who love Kejriwal should reject Modi.’
Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘I have come to you straight from jail. These people (BJP) put me behind bars and I miss you a lot. I love you very much. I know you also love me very much. I am a small man. Our party is small and has governments in Delhi and Punjab. He said, ‘I was wondering why I was put in jail. What is my fault? These people are very powerful.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that his ‘defect’ is to provide good education to children, build good schools for them, open mohalla clinics and arrange free medicines for the people. The national convenor of AAP said, ‘Now they are saying that I will have to go to jail again. It is in your hands whether I go to jail or not. If you choose ‘Lotus’ (BJP symbol), I will have to go back to jail. If you choose the candidate of ‘India’ alliance, I will not have to go to jail.
He is contesting elections by mortgaging his farm… but a big ‘game’ was played even before voting, the story of this candidate is interesting.
Arvind Kejriwal said that ‘when you go to vote, you will have to think whether Kejriwal should go to jail. ‘Those who love Kejriwal should reject Modi.’ Seeking support for Aggarwal, he said that this time AAP and Congress are contesting the elections in alliance. Kejriwal alleged that when he was in jail, attempts were made to break him, ‘but due to the blessings of Lord Hanuman, I remained strong.’ Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case related to Delhi Excise Policy. The Supreme Court has granted him interim bail.
