Clean copper utensils with these three methods:
- Clean with curd: Use curd to clean the copper utensils lying in the house. The acetic property present in curd cleans these utensils easily. Mix 3 teaspoons mango powder and half teaspoon lemon juice in half cup curd. Now apply this paste on your copper vessel. You don’t need to rub. Apply this paste and leave it for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, clean with Scotch Brite gently. Rinse thoroughly and your utensils will shine. Wash with clean cotton cloth.
- Clean with salt: You can also use salt to remove stubborn black spots from copper utensils. Take 3 spoons of salt, add one spoon of lemon juice, 1 spoon of white vinegar and 1 spoon of Vim’s liquid and mix the solution well. Now mix this mixture in Scotch Brite and rub the copper vessel gently. Wash with clean water after 10 minutes. Wash with clean cotton cloth.
- Soak in detergent water: To make a copper vessel brand new, soak it overnight in a solution of soap or detergent water. In the morning, clean it by rubbing it with Scotch Brite. These utensils will become clearly visible. Wash with clean cotton cloth.
