The sensation spread after the dead bodies of a woman and her two daughters were found in a house on Wednesday in the Mollarband area of Badarpur police station area of Delhi. Delhi Police said a 42-year-old woman and two of her daughters were found dead in their house in Moolband, south-eastern Delhi on Wednesday. Initial investigation shows that he committed suicide due to financial constraints. He said that when the neighbors informed about the smell from their house, the bodies of the three were recovered in a rotten state. No suicide note has been recovered from the house yet.
White foam was coming out of the mouth
Police received a PCR call from Mollerband on Wednesday afternoon, in which the caller said that there was a strong smell from the house number 43 on the second floor of street number 16, where mother and daughters lived. Soon after, Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP) and Station House Officer arrived at the scene, where they recovered the bodies of 42-year-old Pooja, her 18-year-old daughter and about 8-9-year-old young daughter. A police officer said that white foam was coming out of the mouth of the three, which shows that they had eaten some poisonous substances.
The dead bodies were 4-5 days old
Initial investigation has revealed that the bodies are four to five days old and the financial crisis may be a possible reason behind the alleged suicide. At the same time, the local people said that the family had not paid the rent for the last two months, due to which they allegedly decided to commit suicide. The bodies have been sent for postmortem.
The woman lived alone with her daughters
The police officer said that preliminary investigation has revealed that Pooja lived alone with her daughters and her husband had not appeared for the last few years. He said, “We came to know that her husband works as a driver in Gurugram, Haryana. But someone also told us that he died a few months ago. We are confirming all the facts.” He said that during investigation, it was also found that his daughters were not going to school for the last few months. He further said that police teams are also investigating CCTV footage to find out where the woman was last seen and from where she bought poisonous substances.
Police is investigating
He said, “The bodies are completely rotten in a rotten state. The crime team will visit the spot again to gather more evidence from the spot. So far there is no mark of assault on the body. The post-mortem report will reveal the causes of death.” The official said that further investigation in the case is going on and the police is investigating all aspects including financial crisis.
