Risk of Heart attack after meal: The heart in our body gives us the beats of life. These heartbeats stopped and the story of life ended there. The heart keeps beating continuously without stopping and without getting tired. Therefore heart protection is very important for us. But the way cases of heart attack or cardiac arrest are increasing among the youth in the last few years is a matter of great concern. Even youth are falling prey to heart attacks while dancing or playing cricket. According to the World Health Organization heart attack Around 1.79 crore people die worldwide due to heart related diseases. Experts around the world are worried about this. According to experts, many things are responsible for deaths due to heart attack, cardiac arrest, heart failure or stroke, but lack of awareness is also a big reason. People don’t understand how to deal with it.
More danger in winter
All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS Professor of Cardiology Department and Senior Professor awarded with Padma Shri Dr. Nitish Nayak Told that generally the cases of heart attack increase in winter. Many reasons are responsible for this. There are changes in people’s lifestyle. Wrong eating habits and stress are increasing this further. He said that when the temperature increases in winter, the veins of our body start shrinking. In this, due to excessive hard work or dancing or running, the pressure on the heart suddenly increases. That is, there is additional pressure on the heart muscles, which can lead to sudden blood clot or blockage in the heart. Due to this, the risk of sudden heart attack increases manifold.
Dancing after eating increases the risk of heart attack
Has given new life to many famous personalities Dr. Nitish Nayak Told that when you eat food, blood circulation i.e. blood flow is more towards the stomach. This reduces the overall blood pressure in the body. That is, at this time the blood supply to the heart starts decreasing slightly. In this situation, if there is a cold wave and you are going outside for a walk or doing strenuous work like dancing or running, then the heart gets affected in many ways. One, the veins already shrink in winter due to which the blood supply to the heart starts decreasing. On the other hand, when you eat food blood bridge stomach Due to this, there is more deficiency of blood in the body. In such a situation, the risk of heart attack will also become very high.
Insulin also becomes a villain
Another reason for the risk of heart attack after eating food is that after eating food, insulin production starts increasing to generate energy from food. Excess insulin starts producing energy quickly. Oxygen is required more in this process. To provide more oxygen, blood pressure has to be increased. High blood pressure means more pressure on the heart. This damages the function of the endothelium of the inner wall of the arteries. As a result, the risk of blood clot formation in the arteries increases. That means the risk of heart attack increases due to blood clot. This increases the risk several hundred times in people who already have heart-related complications.
Avoid cold wave like this
Dr. Nitish Nayak told that when it is very cold, one should not do exercise outside and that too should not be done after eating food. Because pollution makes the work of the heart more difficult. Exercising outside increases a lot of pressure on the heart. Therefore do not do heavy activities. People who have heart related problems should not do this at all. Before this, get a checkup done from the doctors and take special caution.
What to do after eating food..
Dr. Nitish Nayak says that do not do any physical exercise, fast walking or even long walks normally, dancing, playing outdoor games like cricket or football etc. or any intense activity for one hour after eating food. All this can be done one hour after eating. However, those who already have heart related problems should not do anything without consulting doctors. Apart from taking rest after eating food, one should also do indoor games or generally whatever work one wants to do. Especially in the winter season, not only the elderly but also the youth should keep these things in mind.
