Om Prakash/Ranchi. If you do not pay income tax, then there is a relief news for you. On the third day of the monsoon session, CM Hemant Soren has said that free sand will be made available very soon to families that do not fall in the income tax category. Let us tell you that at this time people are troubled by the shortage of sand and the increase in its price in the state.

Once again, there was a ruckus in the Jharkhand Assembly. There was a lot of sloganeering in the well of the House between the ruling party and the opposition. Meanwhile, a supplementary budget of Rs 4,833 crore was passed by the House. During this, CM Hemant Soren announced to bring a proposal very soon to give free sand to the families who do not pay income tax in the state. At the same time, Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon has talked about doing something special on the possibility of drought in the state for the second consecutive time.

Let us tell you that in recent times, the government was on the target of the opposition due to the shortage of sand. There were also unique demonstrations regarding sand in which people were seen besieging the government by selling sand by weighing it on a scale. At the same time, the opposition also surrounded the government on the issue of sand on the floor of the House. But on the contrary, the government showed seriousness on the matter and made a big announcement. The Chief Minister announced to give free sand to those who do not pay tax.

It is worth noting that the beneficiaries of Abua Awas were also facing problems due to non-availability of sand, for which everyone welcomed this decision of the government. Although there has been a shortage of sand in the past as well, the ruling party gave a vague answer on this. On the same matter, Minister Irfan Ansari said that the government wanted to work even earlier. But the opposition was not letting it work. Minister Deepka Pandey and Minister Mithilesh Thakur said that this step of the government will benefit the poor and low income group.

While the coalition parties praised the Jharkhand government’s big announcement, the opposition criticized the government and said that this is just a hoax. BJP MLA Randhir Singh said that when this government has spent almost five years in power and could not make any plan regarding sand, then this announcement by the government is nothing less than a mere slogan.

Along with this, BJP MLA Randhir Singh said that there is no stock of sand in the government dump and it is time for the government to leave, so this announcement has no meaning. At the same time, AJSU MLA Lambodar Mahato says that the opposition raised its voice on the road and in the House regarding sand, due to which the government has made the announcement under pressure.
